CAC Thrift Store
The CAC Thrift Store is located in downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The thrift store is a critical revenue source for the shelter operations at CAC. All proceeds from the thrift store directly support CAC in our efforts to ensure the humane treatment of animals and to find forever homes for pets in our community.

Find a home for your gently used, pre-loved items!
Donation Drop-Off
Mon - Fri 10 - 4 pm and Sat 10 - 3 pm (located on the east side of the building)
Inclement weather conditions and staffing may cause closure or reduced hours for donation services. These closures may occur with little or no notice. Thank you for your understanding.
Items we can accept
Every donation benefits the animals at CAC. We're happy to accept most items, including,

- Books
- Clothing (no baby or kids)
- Dishes and kitchen items
- Electronics
- Furniture
- Games and gaming systems
- Housewares and décor
- Jewelry
- Linens and bedding
- Pet supplies and pet care items
- Rugs and carpets
- Shoes, scarves, belts, handbags
- Small appliances
- Sporting goods
A good rule of thumb for donations: if you would give it to a friend, it's probably a good item to donate.
Damaged, broken, or soiled items may not be suitable for resale and may be refused. The cost to dispose of these unusable donations takes funds away from our animals.
