Public hours are Tue-Sat 12-6 pm, Sun 12-4 pm, Closed Mondays.

Please remember:

• You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt.

• Please obtain landlord approval prior to your visit to CAC.

• Take some time to view our available pets on our Adopt page or stop in for a walk through. 

• If you have decided you'd like to adopt, an adoption application can be filled out in person at CAC and our adoption counselors will be happy to facilitate a meet and greet.  During this time our CAC adoption counselors will walk you through the adoption process, discuss the pet's needs and may suggest other pets that might fit your lifestyle.

• Even though you may see an animal on the website or in person, they may already have a pending adoption.

 Please note:

• We are not able to keep requests lists. If there is a particular type of pet you are looking for, please check our website frequently.
• If you've decided you'd like to adopt but can't bring your pet home the same day, we are happy to put a 3-day non-refundable hold on the pet. 

We're commitment to finding our pets loving homes. 

Other things to know...

Pet Meets: We do require dog-to-dog meet and greets with any canine siblings. If you intend to adopt the day you come in, please bring your dog/s with you. 

We Require Landlord Approval: If you rent, bring a copy of your rental agreement and proof of pet deposit.

Pet Hold Policy: If the pet you are going to adopt is not currently ‘Available’ for adoption, you can place a $25 non-refundable hold on that pet. As soon as the pet is made ‘Available’ you will be contacted to come in and finish up the adoption process. The $25 deposit will be applied to the adoption fee. Should you change your mind and decide not to complete the adoption, the $25 will be kept as a donation.
